Our story
If Maison Alba were a book, the main characters would be played by a family, friends, encounters, a team, and the writers would be... YOU.
In the shadow of the family home, Valentine, the founder, grew up surrounded by the smell of new wood and the soft whisper of mattresses forming under her father's expert hands. For thirty years, he sculpted dreamy nights for countless families, each spring and seam testifying to his devotion to the art of bedding. It was in this workshop, between the sparks of his know-how and the stories woven into the fibers of the mattresses, that she drew inspiration for her own journey.

Dad
ALBA, why this name?
At the age of 21, with the passion inherited from her father and a vision of timeless elegance, she decided to create her own luxury bedding brand. She wanted a name that embodied both tradition and the promise of a new day. “Alba” was born from this deep desire. In Latin, “Alba” means “dawn” – a powerful symbol of renewal and beginning. Every mattress we make is not just a product, but a promise of gentle awakenings, unmatched comfort and the pure tranquility that follows a perfect night.
Alba is the synthesis of thirty years of family expertise and a young ambition. In each seam and each fabric, there is a story of love, passion and dedication, inherited from her father and perpetuated through each creation.

a family story
Valentine, accompanied by her brothers, were immersed in the field of bedding from a very young age. They were lucky enough to receive their first training from the age of 12. These experiences fueled their passion for the well-being of sleepers, ensuring their health for a third of their lives. With these years of know-how, Valentine, advised by her brothers and her father, developed the revolutionary and 100% natural Alba mattresses ten years later as a family.

Valentine's Word
The founder
"It was the year 2000, I was 2 years old and my nanny was ill that day. Unexpectedly, my father had to take me on his usual visit to these workshops where the smell of wood fire reigned, the bedding design was unequaled and the know-how spoke of French art. I did not yet know that after this very first visit which punctuated my father's 30 professional years, I would no longer count the times when, in turn, I took the immense pleasure of visiting them. It was obvious that one day, Alba had to be born."
